Advanced media players can organize your music instantly, without touching the actual audio files, but this is not always an advantage. Your songs may be organized on the player's interface, but the files will remain scattered in different folders, making it difficult to locate specific items. Music Organizer Pro can provide you with an excellent solution for this situation. It is capable of sorting files, based on their metadata, just like an advanced media player, but instead of grouping them on an interface, it actually moves or copies the files in different folders.

The program can be installed in a few moments, on Windows XP or any later version. It provides support for both 32 and 64-bit operating systems and it does not require too much disk space or processing power. Music Organizer Pro is not free, but you can use its trial version without any serious restrictions.

The first thing you need to know is that Music Organizer Pro is not limited to audio files, like its name suggests. It works with various file types, including images and video files, documents, archives and others. When you launch the program for the first time, a wizard will guide you through the initial configurations. During this procedure, you can select a source folder and a destination and decide how to handle the contained files.

Once you complete the initial configurations, you may click the Play button, located on a toolbar and the software will start moving or copying your files right away, according to your settings. Processed files are listed in the central region of the interface, along with their thumbnails, general characteristics and metadata. Once installed, Music Organizer Pro will automatically create a desktop shortcut for the output folder, so you can locate your files instantly. Alternatively, you may select one of the options, on the software's toolbar, to open a folder with certain contents, like audio files, images, videos and so on.

It is possible to select a different source folder at any time, in the general settings menu, where you can also set the program to erase duplicates automatically, delete empty or corrupt files and much more. Furthermore, you can launch the initial settings wizard again, if you wish to set up a different output folder or select a different sorting method for audio files.
